DIACONATE

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have command you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV)

Hope’s Diaconate Ministry cares for the spiritual needs of the membership. The Diaconate are select members who possess a spiritual commitment, display a model life, embrace a compassionate spirit, and has the discernment to make sound judgments.

The Diaconate serves by focusing on with the spiritual needs of the congregation through visitations, teaching, prayer, counseling, benevolence, baptizing, and providing communion. The Diaconate attend to the spiritual needs of the church and community, serving as an extension of the Pastor and supporting his vision for the church, equipping the Body of Christ (the Church) in realizing their godly purpose and spiritual assignment.
